This course is the most notorious first year engineering subject. Heaps of people fail this subject and rightfully so its a quite challenging subject where even though the math itself isnt that hard. Its more hard because most first years kinda go with the flow instead of locking down and studying leaving things to the last minute. My best advice is to apply yourself in the tutorials as much as possible becuase this is where you will actually learn how to solve these problems aswell as trying to attempt prework. Lectures arent as important to attended. There are 3 tests in the sem and weekly questions which will make you sick of the sunday deadline quickly trying to scram to finish it. After finishing this course you do appreicate the knowledge and engineering foundational skills you learn so I urge people to really try nail this subject and apply yourself.
