The unit introduced a lot of interesting concepts and methods that had not yet been mentioned thus far in the degree. The teaching style was helpful as it placed equal importance on the theory and industry based knowledge on manufacturing. The assessments were very achievable with not too much effort, especially the final exam as a cheat sheet is allowed. The maths and formulas involved are very reasonable compared to other 3000 level courses. Labs were also fun and diverse.
